“Marine Team is a company founded by 3 former Royal Marines. They provide marine coordination, water safety, diving supervision and diving support to film and tv around the globe. Although Once We Were Warriors shouldn’t require any of the above if all goes to plan, they are very excited to be involved with the project.”

The fact that we can have support from former royal marines financially really does put our best foot forward in terms of pre production. We are now at the stage where we can assume that cameras can actually roll in France and we can capture our veterans stories to some extent.

I have always believed in our project, about the power of it, the power of the mountains and how it can heal us, and I feel even more strongly about supporting our veterans. Our film will do exactly that, but on a much larger scale than a donation ever could. Having chatted with the owners of Marine Team, I buoyed by their support. Its a good feeling to have people you only know via social media come in and say they believe in your team what we are trying to achieve.

The financial and technical support really gives us the warm fuzzy feeling about getting to France and making this documentary happen.
